to join our team to work alongside our incredible young people and their families. The service has secured work from February 2022 and is looking to expand further!


Domestic assistants with experience in childcare are also welcome to apply.


The role of an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner (EWP/TP) is one that requires resilience, empathy, patience, and the ability to engage our young people in their day-to-day routines. You will build and develop trusting relationships with CYPs that will in turn, provide a secure base for them to thrive.


You will support young people in all aspects of their lives, such as in their schooling, engaging in new and varied activities, and in achieving their own aspirations and wishes. You will deliver home/school based interventions to support the wellbeing of children young people and their families.


Working hours:


Working hours within these roles varies extensively. You will work in the community and provide therapeutically informed interventions and support to children, young people and their families in schools, their homes, hospital etc. We are looking for practitioners who are flexible and able to work days, evenings and weekends. You will however be expected to sleep-in if you are appointed as a residential practitioner.


About you:


Must have a Full UK Driving license

Must have a passion for working with Children & Young people

Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is desirable

Degree qualifications in counselling or mental health is highly essential for the role of an emotional well-being practitioner.

Prior experience working with children & Young People is desirable; however training will be provided.

Flexibility and understanding that we are open all year round, this role does entail working bank holidays (including Christmas days)

What we will offer you in return:


Hourly rates £12.00 not including sleep in rates

CBT trained and Qualified teachers (TPs) and Mental Health Professionals will be offered an enhanced rate of pay to deliver our interventions in settings. Up to £25 per hour

Full training and induction will be provided to all new staff.

£40 sleep in rate for residential sleep ins.
