About you:
Must have a Full UK Driving license
Must have a passion for working with Children & Young people
Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is desirable
Prior experience working with children & Young People is desirable; however training will be provided.
Flexibility and understanding that we are open all year round, this role does entail working bank holidays (including Christmas days)
What we will offer you in return:
Hourly rates £12.00 not including sleep in rates
Seniors rates are up to £16.00 an hour
Full training and induction will be provided to all new staff.
£65 sleep in rate

The role:

Children Residential Managers (Seniors)
Casual Residential Practitioners (Casual)
to join our team to work alongside our incredible young people in our newly established residential settings in Manchester, Warrington and Rochdale.
General supply staffs including domestic assistants are welcome to apply.
The role of a Residential support practitioner is one that requires resilience, empathy, patience, and the ability to engage our young people in their day-to-day routines. You will build and develop trusting relationships with young people that will in turn provide a secure base for them to thrive.
You will support young people in all aspects of their lives, such as in their schooling, engaging in new and varied activities, and in achieving their own aspirations and wishes. Similar to working like a support worker, you will also support colleagues in household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and ensuring our young people’s electronic records are all up to date. It is important that the ethos of the service is demonstrated at all times irrespective of the settings you are posted to. As a manager, you will be required to manage staff to deliver these services and required to do the same when needed.
Working hours:
Working hours within these roles varies extensively. We are looking for Practitioners who are flexible and able to work days, evenings and weekends. You will however be expected to sleep-in if you are appointed as a residential practitioner. Hours can be agreed and negotiated.
A shift can start early with 'sleeping in' between 2300 - 0700 and then finishing at 08.00 the following morning.
