About you:

A Full UK Driving License is required.

You should have a passion for working with children and young people.

Possessing a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is preferred.

Previous experience with children and young people is advantageous, but training will be provided.

Flexibility is essential, as the role involves working year-round, including bank holidays such as Christmas.

Senior rates can reach up to £16.00 per hour.

Children Residential Managers (Seniors)

Casual Residential Practitioners (Casual)

to join our team and work with our exceptional young people in our newly established residential settings in Manchester, Warrington, and Rochdale.

General supply staff, including domestic assistants, are encouraged to apply.

The role of a Residential Support Practitioner requires resilience, empathy, patience, and the ability to engage with young people in their daily routines. You will build trusting relationships that provide a secure base for them to thrive.

You will support young people in various aspects of their lives, such as education, engaging in new activities, and achieving their aspirations. Similar to a support worker, you will assist colleagues with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and maintaining up-to-date electronic records. It is crucial to embody the service's ethos at all times, regardless of your assigned setting. As a manager, you will oversee staff to deliver these services and step in when necessary.

Working hours:

Working hours vary widely in these roles. We seek practitioners who are flexible and can work days, evenings, and weekends. Residential practitioners are expected to sleep-in. Hours can be negotiated.

A shift may start early, with 'sleeping in' from 2300 to 0700, and end at 08:00 the next morning.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 or more per week

Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
